Representative Text

1 Beautiful blossoms
We bring today,
From the dim forest
And meadow-way,
Brightly they’re smiling
Seeming to tell;
“God rules in heaven
All is well.”

Refrain:
Beautiful blossoms
Of the wood and the grove,
Telling of Jesus
And his wonderful love!
Beautiful flowers this the message ye tell,
That God rules in Heaven all is well.

2 No flow’r so humble
But may impart,
Message of gladness
Unto some heart,
O like the blossoms
We too may seek,
Some joyful message
Softly to speak. [Refrain]

3 Roses and lilies,
Violets blue,
Long we have waited,
To welcome you,
Brightly you’re smiling
Seeming to tell—
“God rules in heaven
All is well.” [Refrain]
