She was right. We only ask for money twice a year, and we do so because we need it.

أثبتَ ربي النعمةَ
والحق في السماءْ

2 عهدي لقد قطعتُهُ
مع عبديَ المختارْ
حلفي له ثبَّتُهُ
إلى مدى الأدهارْ
إني لنسلك أُديمْ
إلى مدى الأجيالْ
للدهر عرشَك أُقيمْ
بالمجد والجلالْ

3 إن السماء تحمدُ
فِعالك العظامْ
والأتقيا تُمجِّدُ
حقك يا علاّمْ
فمن يعادل الإلهْ
مِن ساكني سماهْ
بين بنيه مَن نراهْ
مُشابهاً إيّاهْ

4 فهو المعظَّمُ المهوبْ
في مجمع الأبرارْ
وهو المخوف في الشعوبْ
والقادر الجبارْ
مَن مثل ربنا قوي
وسيد الأجنادْ
وحقه من حولهِ
