Representative Text

1 Blessed are the pure in heart,
They that stand approved of God;
They shall have in life a part,
True life here, life with God;
Pure in heart, they daily see
Christ in God their only Lord,
Him who giveth all things free,
Glad they hear his precious word.

2 Blessed are the pure in heart,
They that love the paths of God;
They shall dwell from sin apart,
Live in love, walk with God;
Pure in heart, oh, make me now,
Jesus, Savior, thou, my Lord,
Help me while I humbly bow,
Help me follow thy pure word.
