Representative Text

1 Blessed Lord, I come to Thee,
Full of sin and misery,
And I come to claim the promise of Thy word;
And I’ll never leave Thy side,
Till my wants are all supplied,
I am kneeling at the cross of my Lord.
Kneeling at the cross of my Lord,
Kneeling ad the cross of my Lord;
And I’ll never leave Thy side,
Till my wants are all supplied,
I am kneeling at the cross of my Lord.

2 I have turned away from sin,
And I long to enter in,
To the fullness of the joy Thy grace affords;
And to Thy dear cross I’ll cleave,
Till the blessing I receive,
I am kneeling at the cross of my Lord.
Kneeling at the cross of my Lord,
Kneeling ad the cross of my Lord;
And to Thy dear cross I’ll cleave,
Till the blessing I receive,
I am kneeling at the cross of my Lord.

3 Saviour, do not say me nay,
For I cannot go away
Till from Thy dear lips I hear the precious word,
That shall take away my sin,
And shall make me pure within,
I am kneeling at the cross of my Lord.
Kneeling at the cross of my Lord,
Kneeling ad the cross of my Lord;
That shall take away my sin,
And shall make me pure within,
I am kneeling at the cross of my Lord.
