Representative Text

1 Child of sin and sorrow,
Where wilt thou flee
Through the long to-morrow,
Eternity?
Exiled from home,
Sadly to roam,
Child of sin and sorrow,
Where wilt thou flee?

2 Child of sin and sorrow,
Lift up thine eye;
Heirship thou canst borrow
In worlds on high:
Bright mansions fair
Are waiting there;
Child of sin and sorrow,
Now homeward fly.
