Representative Text

1 Come to the Christ who loves thee,
He is the one true way,
Leading to life eternal,
Seek Him without delay;
Many the gifts He offers,
Pardon for ev’ry sin,
Strength for thy daily duties,
Peace to abide within.

Chorus:
Come to the Christ who pardons,
Take of His blessings free;
List to His call of mercy,
Come, while He waits for thee.

2 Come to the Christ who waiteth,
Hate at His loving call,
Over the world it echoes,
Message of grace to all;
Tender the invitation,
Winningly sweet His voice,
Turn from the path of evil,
making His way thy choice. [Chorus]

3 Come to the Christ who bought thee,
Paying the awful price,
Only one loving Saviour,
Only one sacrifice;
Offer thy willing service,
All through the days to come,
After the earthly journey,
Rest in thy Father’s home! [Chorus]
