Words of Life

Representative Text

1 Coming to cheer us in sadness;
Coming with blessings rife;
Coming to fill us with gladness;
Wonderful words of life!

Chorus:
Beautiful words! wonderful words!
Open your hearts to receive them;
Pardon and peace, blessing and grace.
Are offered to all who believe them.

2 Loving the message they bring us;
Helping us on in the way;
Leading along in the darkness,
Up to the realms of day. [Chorus]

3 Blessing on him who shall hear them;
Life to the souls who believe;
Glory, eternal, unchanging,
For all who God's message receive. [Chorus]
