Representative Text

1 Day after day a hand divine
Gives bounty and blessing to all,
Oft as the rays of morning shine,
New gifts to our portion will fall.
Tokens that tell of watchful care,
Of true and of tender love,
So raise a song of thanksgiving
To our Lord above.

Refrain:
Blessings, blessings, bountiful and free,
From God our heavenly Father,
Sent to you and to me,
Blessings, blessings, tokens of His love,
O raise a song of thanksgiving
To our Lord above.

2 Day after day our Maker sends
The sunshine, the dew and the rain,
Ruling with pow’r that never ends,
From seedtime to harvest of grain,
Ev’rything speaks His wisdom great,
And proveth His boundless love,
Then raise a song of thanksgiving
To our Lord above. [Refrain]

3 Day after day we hear and see
New lessons and symbols displayed,
Gifts from a Father’s lavish heart,
In richest abundance arrayed,
Friendship and pleasure, daily toil,
Are blessings from Him above,
So raise a song of thanksgiving
To our Lord above. [Refrain]
