Owen, Barbara. (Utica, New York, January 25, 1933-- ). Educated at Westminster Choir College (Mus.B.) and Boston University (Mus.M.). Served as organist of several churches, and in 1963 was organist and choir director of the First Religious Society (Unitarian) of Newburyport, Massachusetts. Edited organ and choral music and wrote books on the organ. Active in the A.G.O. and other professional organizations.
