Representative Text

1 Firm do you stand for Christ your Savior,
He who was not ashamed of you;
Show to the world by your behavior
Love for your Lord in all you do.

Refrain:
Let the world know that you are on the Lord’s side,
On the Lord’s side, on the Lord’s side;
Let the world know that you are on the Lord’s side,
Let them see just where you stand.

2 Think ere you speak, be ever careful,
Lest idle words cause one to err;
Choose every word by guidance prayful,
Seeking to pass each lurking snare. [Refrain]

3 Show to the world your life’s approval
By him whose name you proudly bear;
Kindness will cause the gloom’s removal,
Clouding some heart distressed by care. [Refrain]
