1 Forfærdes ei, du lille Hob,
Skjønt Fiende-skarens Larm og Raab
Fra alle Sider gjalde!
De juble ved din Undergang,
Men deres Fryd ei bliver lang,
Thi lad ei Modet falde!

2 Din Sag er Guds, gak i dit Kald,
Dig trøstig ham i Vold befal,
Og frygt saa ingen Fare!
Han vækker Kjæmper end paa Jord,
Som Herrens Folk og Herrens Ord
Skal mandelig forsvare.

3 I Jesu Navn vort Haab er vist,
At Herrens Fienders Vold og List
Dem selv i Graven fører:
De vorde skal til Spot og Skam
Med os er gud, og vi med ham,
Og Seiren os tilhører.
