Representative Text

1 Friends and lov’d ones may leave us,
Foes may painfully grieve us,
Death may sorely bereave us,
But Jesus will love us still.

Chorus:
Jesus will never forget me,
No! never forget me;
Never, no never forget me,
Jesus will love me still!

2 When I’m tried by temptation,
Reft of all consolation,
And in great tribulation,
My Jesus will love me still. [Chorus]

3 When my feet are aweary,
When my eyes are all teary,
When life’s pathway is dreary,
My Jesus will love me still. [Chorus]
