Representative Text

1 Go and tell Jesus when burdened by sin;
Ask Him for pardon, and cleansing within;
Gladly He’ll aid a new life to begin;
Go and tell Jesus today.

Refrain:
Go and tell Jesus,
Go and tell Jesus,
He will take every burden away.
Him you will find so tender and kind,
Then go and tell Jesus today.

2 Go and tell Jesus when troubled with care;
Go when your load seems so heavy to bear:
Surely He’ll hear, and will answer your pray’r;
Go and tell Jesus today. [Refrain]

3 Go and tell Jesus when sorrows so deep,
Trouble in day-light and haunt you in sleep,
Sorrows that cause you to mourn and to weep,
Go and tell Jesus today. [Refrain]

4 Go and tell Jesus whatever you need,
He will to every petition give heed,
Prove Himself ever your true friend indeed,
Go and tell Jesus today. [Refrain]
