During our last fund drive one donor said this: "I love hymns ... If you asked for money, it means you need it! Please keep the work going. And please, accept my widow's mite. God bless you."

She was right. We only ask for money twice a year, and we do so because we need it.

Representative Text

1 God has promised to love us, He sent His only Son;
Jesus died to forgive us, no matter what we’ve done.
He wants to live inside us, and clean up ev’ry part,
When we ask Him to save us, and live within our heart!

Refrain:
Oh, it’s a wonderful life when we walk with the Lord!
It’s a wonderful life when we live by His Word!
It’s a wonderful life praising God above!
For when we walk with Jesus, it’s a wonderful life!

2 There are so many people who need to know God’s love;
Empty, lonely, and fearful, they know not God above.
What joy is ours to befriend them, and lead them to the Lord,
And help them grow in Jesus, and understand God’s Word! [Refrain]

3 Sometimes we are so happy, and sometimes we get sad;
Sometimes life seems so easy, and sometimes things go bad.
Yet one thing never changes when we know Christ as Lord;
For He’s our Friend and Saviour, Who’s faithful to His Word! [Refrain]

4 Come whatever may come then, we know God’s always there;
Day by day He is with us; He’s promised us His care.
Abundant life He has given, and hope and peace and rest;
And when we get to Heaven, eternal life, His best!

Oh, it’s a wonderful life when we walk with the Lord!
It’s a wonderful life when we live by His Word!
It’s a wonderful life praising God above!
For when we walk with Jesus, it’s a wonderful,
It’s a wonderful, it’s a wonderful life!
