Representative Text

1 God so loved the world he gave his own begotten Son;
Death upon the cruel cross the Saviour did not shun;
None shall perish who believe, then come to him today,
Whosoever, whosoever, whosoever may.

Refrain:
Who God’s Word believeth, whosoe’er he be,
Who this truth receiveth, Christ will make him free:
If you heed the invitation, find the promise true,
Whosoever, whosoever, that means you.

2 Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness,
So was Jesus lifted up to heal our souls’ distress;
He will save you if you trust him, trust him now today,
Whosoever, whosoever, whosoever may. [Refrain]

3 Come and give your heart to God, and trust him now to save,
For he loved you so completely his own Son he gave;
Come, repent, believe the Gospel, for the Spirit pray;
Whosoever, whosoever, whosoever may. [Refrain]

4 He will give the Holy Ghost to those who will obey,
You may always have the fullness, he’ll not say you nay;
“Every one that seeketh, findeth,” pow’r is your today,
Whosoever, whosoever, whosoever may. [Refrain]
