Representative Text

1 Good by! good by!
with grateful hearts, we raise our parting chorus,
For well we know, where'er we go,
Our Father's care is o'er us.

Chorus:
Good by! good by!
Bright moments fly, But leave a gift in passing by;
God bless us all, God bless us all,
Good by, good by.

2 Good by! good by!
In varied paths, His loving hand may guide us,
But good or ill, 'tis blessing still,
When Jesus walks beside us. [Chorus]

3 Good by! good by!
For coming days his grace is our best treasure,
The joys that last when time is past,
Be ours, in boundless measure. [Chorus]
