Representative Text

1 Hark! from the throne of light the summons rings,
“Follow Me, my children!
I have work for you, there is much to do,
Before the day is won!”

Refrain:
Songs of love and adoration,
Hymns of praise and exaltation,
Round the world in sweet accord now ring;
Ev’ry eye with fervor lighted,
Ev’ry heart in faith united,
Thus we rise and gladly follow Christ our King.

2 Hark! in the inmost heart the call is heard,
“Follow Me, my children!
In my strength abide, I will be your guide,
The prize will soon be won!” [Refrain]

3 Hark! from a thousand lips the answer rings,
“Lord, we hear, we follow!
For with thee beside as our Friend and Guide,
The day will soon be won!” [Refrain]
