Representative Text

1 Hark the bugle tones resounding,
A summons giving to all;
Jesus wants you for the battle,
Oh haste to answer His call.

Refrain:
Stand firm for the right,
Ne’er give up the fight,
Rally round the standard of your Lord and King.
“Forward!” is the call,
March on, one and all,
Press the fray and gain the day,
Then vict’ry sing.

2 Volunteers for Christ are needed,
Enroll for service today;
Duty bids us join the army
Aligned in battle array. [Refrain]

3 Satan and his host may threaten,
And some may falter and fall;
Yet with Christ our mighty Captain
Our cause will surely prevail. [Refrain]
