1 Hark! the Savior’s voice I hear,
Calling me from deserts drear,
He no more may be so near, if I wait;
Why should I today refuse,
Or His mercies fail to choose?
Naught to gain, but all to lose, if I wait.

Refrain:
If I wait to seek God’s favor,
Lost may be my soul for aye;
If I wait, but oh! my Savior,
Help me yield to Thee today!

2 Endless life He offers me,
Sweet salvation full and free,
But I may not ransomed be, if I wait;
Trusting in His righteousness,
All my sins I will confess,
Lest it be too late to bless, if I wait. [Refrain]

3 All to Christ I now resign,
Yielding to His will divine,
I may pass the border line, if I wait;
The accepted time’s today,
And I now His voice obey,
Death may bear my soul away, if I wait. [Refrain]
