She was right. We only ask for money twice a year, and we do so because we need it.

1 هيا احمدوا رب السماء هاتفينْ
فهو إله صالح في كل حينْ
ورب أربابِ جميعِ العالمينْ
للدهر رحمتهْ

قوة الله عظيمهْ
وفعاله قويمهْ
بركاته عميمهْ
للدهر رحمتهْ

2 عجائباً عظيمةً هو صنعْ
أيضاً سمواتٍ بفهمٍ قد رفعْ
والأرضَ فوق الماء ربنا وضعْ
للدهر رحمتهْ

3 الصانع الأنوارَ ربنا الصمدْ
تضيءُ ليلاً ونهاراً في الجلَدْ
كوكباً في الجو ما لها عددْ
للدهر رحمته

4 أبكارَ مصرَ ضرب الرب الإلهْ
من وسطها أخرج شعباً اصطفاهْ
ذراعهُ شديدةٌ على العصاهْ
للدهر رحمتهْ

5 وبحرَ سُوفٍ شقهُ لأتقياهْ
عبَّرَ إسرائيل فيه في حِماه
فِرعَون مع قواتهِ تحت المياهْ
للدهر رحمتهْ

6 كذا ملوكٌ عُظَما قتلهمْ
كل العِدى بقوةٍ أذلهمْ
ورَّث شعبهُ التَّقي ما لهمْ
