Representative Text

1 He may come in the early morning,
He may come at the noontide hour;
Our Redeemer is surely coming,
Clothed with glory and matchless power.

Refrain:
He is coming, surely coming,
Coming as He once ascended to the sky;
O be ready for that time,
For the glory, grand, sublime,
For the coming of the Savior draweth nigh.

2 He may come when the shades of evening
Mark the time of the setting sun;
Are you ready to meet the Savior?
Will He greet you with His “well done”? [Refrain]

3 Our Redeemer is surely coming,
Not as Savior, the cross to bear;
But as king of eternal ages;
Are you ready to meet Him there? [Refrain]
