He saves me, he saves me, O praise

Representative Text

1 He saves me! He saves me!
Oh, praise His precious name!
He shed His blood on Calv’ry’s tree,
For me He bore the shame.
He brought from heaven’s throne on high
Salvation full and free;
He saves me! He saves me,
Thro’ all eternity!
He saves me! He saves me!

2 He saves me! He saves me!
And makes me pure within;
He gives me power from day to day
To conquer all my sin.
Temptation cannot lay me low,
He ever is my stay;
He saves me! He saves me,
However fierce the fray.
He saves me! He saves me!

3 He saves me! He saves me!
His will is my delight;
And one day ‘mid the Glory Land
I’ll walk in garments white;
And there with dear ones gone before
I’ll sing on heaven’s strand,
“He saves me! He saves me!”
On this I take my stand.
He saves me! He saves me!
