Hear Me, O My Father

Representative Text

1. Hear me, O my Father, hear me,
Humbly at thy feet I bow;
Do thou grant me to draw me nearer,
Lord, I do implore thee now.

Chorus:
Hear me, O Father,
Hear me while I pray;
Save me, Lord Jesus,--
Wash my sins away.

2. I entreat thee for a blessing;
Lord, thou know'st I'm very weak;
And my sins are sore distressing,
Lord, I lay them at thy feet.
Chorus.

3. Lord, I plead the Saviour's merits,
He hath died to set me free;
Here I bow in deep contrition,
And by faith I look to thee.
Chorus
