Representative Text

1 Hear the bells, loud and clear!
How their happy clamor trembles on the air!
Hear the bells, far and near,
Calling us to praise and prayer.

Refrain:
Sabbath bells, chime on, ring on,
Loud and clear chime on and ring;
Cease ye not till all the world,
Worship Christ, our Lord and King.

2 Hear the bells, ringing still!
Come we now obedient to the summons sweet.
Hear the bells! Joy doth fill
Hearts that worship at His feet. [Refrain]

3 Hear the bells clearly say,
“Ever true and faithful be till He appear.”
Watch and pray! watch and pray!
For His coming draweth near. [Refrain]
