Representative Text

1 How sweet is the love of my Savior to me,
As I walk in the path He unfolds!
So tenderly precious, so gloriously free!
What infinite wonder it holds.

Refrain:
How sweet is His love, oh, how wondrously sweet!
More precious I find it each day;
‘Tis new every morning and fresh every eve,
And sweeter each step of the way.

2 Sometimes in my folly I’ve not looked above
When the threatening storms gathered near;
But out of the darkness, the voice of His love
Has graciously banished my fear. [Refrain]

3 How sweet is the love of my Savior divine!
I will trust Him tho’ dark be the night;
The shadows but sweeten that love so sublime,
His love fills the soul with God’s light. [Refrain]
