Representative Text

1 I am coming unto Jesus, for His voice I hear,—
I'm coming unto Jesus now;
Sweetly ringing thro' the darkness, bringing hope and cheer,
I am coming, coming now.

Refrain:
Coming from the shadows of the dreary night,
Finding in His welcome, everlasting light;
Coming unto Jesus heav'nly glories shine;
Sing His wondrous mercies, Sing His love divine.

2 I am coming unto Jesus, weary and defiled,
I'm coming unto Jesus now,
Clinging to His blessed promise like a little child,
I am coming, coming now. [Refrain]

3 I am coming unto Jesus, humbly, hour by hour,
I'm coming unto Jesus now;
Finding for His blessed service, plenteous grace and pow'r,
I am coming, coming now. [Refrain]

4 O how perfect is His pardon, ready full and free,
I'm coming unto Jesus now;
O how kind the Shepherd, bidding, "Rise, and follow me,"
I am coming, coming now. [Refrain]
