Representative Text

1 I cannot tell how wonderful,
How great my Saviour’s love,
How precious to my longing soul,
All other gifts above.

Refrain:
Not half can e’er be told,
Not half the story sweet;
I kneel with grateful heart,
And worship at his feet.

2 So much, so much he did for me,
I praise him more and more;
My hope, my strength, my refuge sure,
I’ve prov’d him o’er and o’er. [Refrain]

3 Life’s storms full oft upon me beat,
The night falls gray and chill,
And thro’ the waters deep I pass,
But he is with me still. [Refrain]

4 O precious, precious, precious love!
Alone I could not hear
Life’s crosses and perplexities;
Did not my Saviour care. [Refrain]
