Representative Text

1 I have treasures, wondrous treasures,
That are precious to my soul,
And they grow still dearer, dearer,
As the glad years onward roll.

Refrain:
Gifts are they from God my Father,
Straight from his dear hands they came,
Gifts that never more shall perish,
Mine forever, praise his name.

2 Peace that passeth understanding,
Hope in him that cannot die,
Fullness of his love eternal
Foretaste of thy joy on high. [Refrain]

3 Over there a home so blessed,
Where there shall be no more night,
Death and sin may never enter,
All is love and peace and light. [Refrain]

4 You may have these blessed treasures,
Unto you he will bestow
And each trusting soul who seeks them,
Shall their blessed sweetness know. [Refrain]
