Representative Text

I read by the dawn of the morning,
That the day of the Lord is at hand,
The light of His glorious presence
Is flooding the beautiful land.

Chorus:
O come blessed day of salvation,
To all people and kindred and tongue,
And then shall the sweetest of praises
To our Jesus forever be sung.

The brightness of glory is shining
With a steady and powerful ray;
And where the dark shadows were thickest,
The sunshine illumines the day.

The light of the world is unfolding,
Where the rapturous visions arise;
The forelights of splendor are pouring,
From mansions of gold in the skies.
