Representative Text

1 I will compass Thine altar with songs of thanksgiving;
The incense of praises shall rise unto Thee;
With hands that are wash’d in the pure cleansing fountain,
With heart full of love for Thy pardon so free.

Refrain:
Oh, the pure cleansing fountain,
The free flowing fountain,
I will wash in the stream that is flowing for me;
It shall flow on forever
Like a bright shining river,
The fountain of mercy, so full and so free.

2 I have trusted in Thee, and I rest on Thy promise;
I build on Thy power with confidence sure;
My Rock of salvation is firm and abiding;
My heart knows no weakness Thy strength cannot cure. [Refrain]

3 I will publish to all the glad news of salvation;
Thy wonderful mercy my heart shall indite;
O refuge, so mighty! O help, that is cheering!
For the hour that is darkest Thy love is the light. [Refrain]
