Go to Christ in prayer

Representative Text

1 If your way is dreary, dreary, and your heart is sad and lonely,
Look to Christ the Savior, Savior, He will make you glad, He'll bless you;
Brightest beams of sunshine, sunshine, He will send your way, so brother,
If you would be happy, humbly kneel to Him and pray.

Refrain:
Go to Christ the Savior, Savior, breathe an humble prayer, unto Him,
He will bear your burdens, burdens, all your sorrows share, He'll help you;
Let Him solve your problems, problems, and your hopes renew, completely
If you trust and follow, follow, He will guide you thru.

2 Tho you may have sorrows, sorrows, that oppress you sore, oppress you,
Think of Jesus dying, dying and of all He bore, so freely;
He will give a blessing, blessing, ev'ry passing day, he'll bless you.
But my brother, you must humbly kneel to Him and pray. [Refrain]

3 When the journey's ended, ended, and your race is run, and over,
We shall be rewarded, fully for the deeds we've done, for Jesus;
If we have been faithful, faithful, thru each trying test, each trial,
We shall enter heaven, heaven, and eternal rest. [Refrain]
