Representative Text

1 If you’re weary, worn and sad,
Nothing seems to make you glad,
Look to Jesus for He gave His life for you;
Don’t give us in sad despair,
Tell to Him your ev’ry care,
And remember Jesus cares for you.

Refrain:
Jesus cares for you, O yes, He cares for you,
If you trust Him He will guide you safely thro’
When the day seem dark and long,
You can sing the victor’s song,
And remember Jesus cares for you.

2 If the battle fierce is on,
And the friends you trusted gone,
Christ will give you victory if you are true;
Just be sure to stem the tide;
Look to Him your help and guide,
And remember Jesus cares for you. [Refrain]

3 If some sorrow comes again,
Bringing to you grief and pain,
With His tender loving hand He’ll bear you thro’
If death’s angel hovers near,
Praise the Lord, you need not fear,
Just remember Jesus cares for you. [Refrain]
