Representative Text

1 I’ll go to my Saviour today!
He stoops from His glory above,
He bids me no longer delay,
But touch the bright sceptre of love!

Chorus:
I never, no, never can perish,
Committing my way to the Lord;
My soul He securely will cherish,
If coming by faith in His word.

2 I’ll go to my Saviour today!
I surely shall perish in sin;
His hand shall not turn me away,
But lead me so gently within. [Chorus]

3 I’ll go to my Saviour today!
Tho’ foes all my pathway surround;
Tho’ fears fill my soul with dismay,
His love and His grace shall abound. [Chorus]
