Representative Text

1 I’m joyously singing, as onward I go,
That others my trust in my Saviour may know,
Because He has caused me with joy to o’erflow;
I’m always singing of Jesus.

Chorus:
I’m always singing of Jesus,
The loving, glorious Jesus;
Because I know He loves me so,
I’m always singing of Jesus.

2 He lightens my burdens and brightens my way,
He whispers His love when I’m tempted to stray;
And so in His beautiful Presence I stay;
I’m always singing of Jesus. [Chorus]

3 I’m told that, some morning, on heaven’s fair strand,
With all the redeemed, near the throne I shall stand;
To praise Him forever with that blood-washed band;
Yet always singing of Jesus. [Chorus]
