Representative Text

1. I'm only a little Christian;
But as I onward go,
I do my best for Jesus,
Because I love him so;
I lessen care and sorrow
As often as I may,
With Jesus, my Redeemer,
In glory I shall dwell.

Chorus:
I'm only a little Christian;
But as I onward go,
I do my best for Jesus,
Because I love him so.

2. I'm only a little Christian;
But as I go along
I cheer my little playmates
By smile or cheering song;
And often when they sorrow
I try to dry their eyes
By telling them of Jesus
Who watches in the skies. [Chorus]

3. I'm only a little Christian;
But if I do my best
To please my Saviour daily,
Each day I shall be blest;
And when this life is ended,
If I have served him well,
With Jesus, my Redeemer,
In glory I shall dwell. [Chorus]
