Representative Text

1 In that land of bliss where holy angels dwell
In the presence of the King,
We shall gather soon, the wondrous theme to swell,
His redeeming love to sing.

Chorus:
In that heav'nly land, we shall sing a song,
Telling forth His wondrous love;
We shall join the song of the ransom'd throng
In the land of bliss above.

2 In that sweet new song which saints alone can sing,
Rescued ones who once were lost,
We shall gladly join in tribute to our King,
Who redeemed us at such cost. [Chorus]

3 Here on earth below while waiting for that day,
Let us now our lips employ
In a song in tune, to cheer the upward way
T'ward the everlasting joy. [Chorus]

4 Thou art worthy, Lord, Thou King of saints below,
"Just and true are all thy ways;"
Bring us home at last, life's mysteries to know,
And to Thee shall be the praise. [Chorus]
