Representative Text

1 Jesus came from Glory-land the world to save;
Ev’rybody ought to love Him;
On the cross of Calvary His all He gave;
Oh, ev’rybody ought to love Him!

Chorus:
Ev’rybody ought to love Him,
Counting no one else above Him;
His life Jesus gave, the whole world to save,
Oh, ev’rybody ought to love Him!

2 Countless are the burdens he has rolled away;
Ev’rybody ought to love Him;
Countless are the blessings He bestows each day;
Oh, ev’rybody ought to love Him! [Chorus]

3 For His own, in heaven, still He intercedes;
Ev’rybody ought to love Him;
Whosoever trusteth Him He keeps and leads;
Oh, ev’rybody ought to love Him! [Chorus]

4 Sinner, won’t you heed His pea and look above?
Ev’rybody ought to love Him;
There is room for ev’rybody in His love;
Oh, ev’rybody ought to love Him! [Chorus]
