Full Text

1 Jesus græd, Fald paa mit Hjerte,
O I dyre Taarer, ned!
Styr min Lyst og kvæg min Smerte
Understore Kjærlighed!
Vis mig Syndens Hæslighed,
Gjør mig den alvorlig led,
Giv mig, Mod, og gjør mig varlig
Hvor min Vei er haard og farlig!

2 Gud, fra os din Dom afvende!
Lær du vort besøgte Land
Sin Besøgelse at kjende,
Gid hver Sjæl og gid hver Stand
Have det i Minde sat,
Stand er Skygge, Klogskab Nat,
Hvor din Aand ei Lyset tænder,
Hvor man ei din guddom kjender!
