Representative Text

1 Jesus, let my final rest
From myself and this world's bondage,
From the storms on life's rough voyage,
Be within Thy gracious breast.

2 From a world of stress and strife
Hide me, O my Saviour, hide me;
Through the narrow gateway guide me,
Leading to eternal life.

3 To Thy bosom gently prest,
I am ready when Thou take me,
So a humble place Thou make me
In the mansions of the blest.

Amen.
