Representative Text

1 Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves even me:
He came from His home in the skies above,
To show little children His wondrous love,
To show us His wondrous love,

2 Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves even me:
He blest little children with words of pray’r
And bade them to trust in the Father’s care,
To trust in the Father’s care,
To trust in the Father’s care.

3 Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves even me:
His life and example He came to give,
To show little children the way to live,
To show us the way to live,
To show us the way to live.

4 Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves even me:
He suffered and died on the cross of shame
That we might be saved thro’ His blessed name,
Be saved thro’ His blessed name,
Be saved thro’ His blessed name.
