Jesus, meine Wonne, wenn mir Freude lacht.
Jesus, meine Liebe, Du, mein einzig Glück,
nimmer wend ich wieder von Dir weg den Blick.

2 Du hast meine Seele wunderbar erquickt,
deines Geistes Siegel in mich eingedrückt.
Deinen tiefen Frieden spür ich täglich nun,
darf in deiner Liebe Stund um Stunde ruhn.

3 In der Welt Gedränge, in der Sünde Streit
sind, Herr, deine Siege stets für mich bereit.
Du willst für mich kämpfen, ich darf stille sein,
mich in Deine Gnade hüllen fester ein.

4 Welch ein selig Leben in der dunklen Welt!
Fröhlich kann ich singen, weil mich Jesus hält.
Niemand kann mich reißen, Herr, aus Deiner Hand,
