No Refuge Like Thee

Jesus my Savior, my Rock and my Fortress

Author: R. F. Chalk
Tune: [Jesus my Savior, my Rock and my Fortress]
Published in 1 hymnal

Representative Text

1. Jesus my Saviour, my Rock and my Fortress,
To thee for sure Refuge I flee;
When Satan assails me and dares to molest me,
I find there's no Refuge like thee.

Chorus:
For there's safety when hid in the Rock;
Oh, the safety I find in the rock;
No tempter, no foe, can my life overthrow,
When securely I'm hid in the Rock.

2. Jesus my Saviour, my Life, my Deliv'rer,
My Refuge so strong and so free;
While leaning on thee, peace flows like a river,
I've found secure Refuge in thee. [Chorus]

3. Jesus my Saviour, my King, he is coming
Resplendent in glory and power;
We'll see him, with angels, on that blessed morning,
And with him we'll dwell evermore. [Chorus]
