Jesus, Savior, Thou art mine, While I wander unbefriended

Representative Text

1. Jesus, Savior, Thou art mine,
While I wander unbefriended;
Let my life be wholly Thine,
Ever by Thy grace attended.
Thou art my Defense and Tower,
When the storms of evil lower;
I will trust, for I am Thine,
Jesus Savior, Thou art mine.

2. Jesus, Savior, Thou art mine;
Even though in pain and sorrow
I should feel my faith decline,
I would find Thee on the morrow;
With Thy Spirit's light to guide me,
And Thy wings of love to hide me;
I will trust, for I am Thine,
Jesus Savior, Thou art mine.

3. Jesus, Savior, Thou art mine;
wWen the waves of doubt are surging,
I cling to that Word of Thine,
Till I, from the depths emerging,
By its light regain Thy favor,
For Thy truth can never waver;
I will trust, for I am Thine,
Jesus Savior, Thou art mine.
