Representative Text

1 Jesus, tender Shepherd,
All my wants supply;
In Thy pleasant pastures,
Make me down to lie.

Refrain:
Shepherd, keep lambs and sheep,
Safe from storms and cold;
Back from sin’s bleak mountains,
Bring them to the fold.

2 Lead beside still waters,
My lost soul restore;
In the narrow pathway,
Guide me evermore. [Refrain]

3 When in deaths dark shadow,
Banish ev’ry fear,
Let no ill befall me,
Comfort give, and cheer. [Refrain]

4 Spread for me a table,
Seen by ev’ry foe;
And my cup of blessing,
Cause to overflow. [Refrain]

5 Follow with Thy goodness,
All my future days;
In Thy house, forever
Let me sing Thy praise. [Refrain]
