Representative Text

1 Jesus, we come to Thee,
Trusting Thy love;
Do Thou our refuge be,
Help from above!
In our temptation’s hour
While storm-clouds darkly low’r,
Kept by Thy love and pow’r,
Naught can us move.

2 Lord, at Thy feet we fall,
Trusting Thy word;
Thou art our all in all,
Saviour and Lord!
May we Thy glory see—
Here may Thy Spirit be—
While we commune with Thee
In sweet accord.

3 Saviour, we cling to Thee,
Trusting Thy grace;
Help us by faith to see
Thy loving face.
Then when our life is past—
Death’s shadow falling fast—
Lord, in Thy home at last
Give us a place.
