Representative Text

1 Joyful songs now sweetly ring,
Words of praise we lift above;
Happy hearts and voices sing,
Hallelujah! God is love.

Refrain:
Songs of gladness ringing, loudly ringing,
Raise we now to God above,
Happy hearts and voices singing,
Sweetly singing “God is love.”

2 Angels bright are bending low,
Shelt’ring wings above are spread;
From the throne unceasing flow
Countless blessings on our head. [Refrain]

3 Peace divine doth sweetly steal
O’er us like a gentle dove,
While before His feet we kneel
And rejoice that God is love. [Refrain]
