Representative Text

1 Keep telling the wonderful story,
How Jesus on Calvary died.
They wounded, for our great transgressions,
His hands and His feet and His side.

Refrain:
Keep telling the wonderful story
Of Jesus the mighty to save;
The message so full of His glory,
The life and the love that He gave.

2 Keep telling the wonderful story
The sinful are longing to hear.
The message the Master shall give you
Like music will fall on the ear. [Refrain]

3 Keep telling the wonderful story,—
The blind at His touch have their sight,
And hearts, so rebellious and sinful,
Are washed in His blood clean and white. [Refrain]

4 Keep telling the wonderful story
Of purity, pardon and peace,
Until thou shalt hear in thy spirit,
His summons, that biddeth thee cease. [Refrain]
