Hymnary Friends,

Please pardon this brief interruption, and please consider a gift today to support the work of Hymnary.org. Here's why.

Each month half a million people visit this website for free access to the most complete database of North American hymnody on the planet. But this project does not come without a cost, and we have limited sources of revenue. Twice a year we hold a fund drive, and these drives are critical to our future.

So if you benefit from Hymnary.org, would you consider a donation today? Even small amounts help, and they also let us know you're behind us and support what we do.

Click the Donate button below to be taken to a secure giving site. Or you can make your tax-deductible contribution by sending a check to Hymnary.org at 3201 Burton SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546.

On behalf of the entire Hymnary.org team, our thanks.

Representative Text

1 Keep up the fight! The battle must be won, today
God’s order is—Press onward to the fray!
The hosts of sin your loyal ranks must put to rout,
And from the land the foe be driven out.

Keep up the fight for Truth and Right!
Led on by Christ we’ll win the day.
He goes before us. His banner o’er us
To certain vcit’ry points the way.
Keep up the fight and falter never;
For right will live and reign forever;
Our God is with us to courage give us,
Keep up the fight, keep us the fight!

2 Keep up the fight! The trumpet’s call rings far and wide;
Enlist today, Christ needs you on His side!
For truth and right! Be this the cry, our ranks to lead,
And God will give the courage that we need. [Refrain]

3 Keep up the fight Until the foemen turn and fly;
For Right we’ll dare, and if it need be, die.
The Truth must win, no matter what the cost may be.
Keep up the fight! God send us victory! [Refrain]
