During our last fund drive one donor said this: "I love hymns ... If you asked for money, it means you need it! Please keep the work going. And please, accept my widow's mite. God bless you."

She was right. We only ask for money twice a year, and we do so because we need it.

Representative Text

1 Kennst, o Mensch, du schon die Fülle
jener Gnade, die Er gibt,
und das glückliche Geheimnis
solcher Leute, die Er liebt?
In dem ewgen Wort verborgen
steht dazu die Antwort schon,
öffne Ihm dein Herz noch heute,
glaube, glaube an den Sohn!

2 In Ihm wohnt die Fülle Gottes
und vollendet sich im Sohn.
Gib dich Ihm, so wird die Fülle
Seiner Gnade dir zum Lohn:
Was du nie vermögen würdest,
das vollbringt Sein Geist in dir,
und du trägst in dir das Zeugnis:
Jesus Christus lebt in mir.

3 Herr, ich komm, Dir einfach glaubend
Deines Wortes Sicherheit,
meiner Sünden volle Sühnung,
Deiner Gnade Festigkeit.
Künftig ströme durch mein Leben
Deines Lebens Fülle hin,
kalte Herzen zu erreichen,
Dir, Herr Jesus, zum Gewinn.
