Kings and priests with God are we

Tune: OKOLONA

Representative Text

1 Kings and priests with God are we,
By the Lord anointed,
From the pow'rs of sin set free.
As He hath appointed.
Christ doth great deliv'rance give
Those who on His name believe;
They His precious seal receive,
Unto Him united.

2 Into Christ we are baptized
By the Holy Spirit;
On His altar sacrificed–

Sin and self we have denied,
God has wondrous grace supplied,
In Him we are sanctified;
Humbly we declare it.

3 Holy, holy is the Lord!
Praise His name forever!
We are cleansed by His pure word,
To be bondsmen never.
Brethren, kings and priests are we,
We must pure and holy be,
That the world our light may see,
In our walks, forever.
